Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Skaar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bob kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Notkea rotta - Itä meidän. Skaar is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Neil Young - Rockin' In The Free World . John Skaar has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.


It looks like Billy Bob has been cut.
Skaar walks into a stiff left hand from Bob.
Skaar defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bob.
Bob throws out a powerful jab.


It looks like John Skaar has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Skaar misses with a hook. Bob ducked under it nicely.
Bob listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Bob lands a jab to the nose.
Skaar misses with a series of wild punches.
Bob throws a nice looking combination but Skaar bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Billy Bob seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bob moves out of range as Skaar strikes.

Skaar shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Skaar fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Bob scores with the left hand. Skaar knows he should have avoided that one.
Skaar is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bob.

Skaar lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Bob at a distance.
Skaar tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Bob manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Skaar misses with a wild body shot.
Bob darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Skaar swings for the body but Bob moves out of range.
Bob lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Bob lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Skaar circles away quickly and effectively.
Skaar misses with a series of wild punches.
Skaar leaves Bob with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Billy Bob. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bob is breathing heavily.
Skaar throws a series of punches but Bob avoids them all with ease.

Skaar tries to close the distance and clinch but Bob swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Skaar throws a poor cross that misses
and Bob counters with a three punch combo that has Skaar backing up. Skaar nods at Bob to acknowledge the strikes.
A combination from Bob does no damage.
Bob shoots in looking for a takedown but Skaar manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bob's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Skaar throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bob was covering up waiting for the punch and Skaar finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Skaar postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Skaar postures up in Bob's guard and throws a big left but Bob blocks it.
Skaar stopping the sweep attempt from Bob.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bob is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Bob looking for a guillotine here but Skaar defends easily.

Skaar is working Bob over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Skaar wants to pass the guard but Bob is keeping the position.
Skaar trying to control the position from guard on top but Bob is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Bob is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Skaar is aware though and is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Skaar wants to control from the top but Bob keeps moving.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Billy Bob dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Skaar scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Bob shoots in for a double leg but Skaar sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Skaar lands with a good body shot.
Skaar ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bob moves away.
Skaar is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Good work by Bob as he checks the leg kick.
Skaar ducks under a wild hook from Bob.
Skaar throws a shot from downtown. Bob moves away and avoids it.
Bob is trying hard to land a takedown here. Skaar sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Skaar throws a push kick but Bob slaps the foot to one side.

Skaar tries to bum rush Bob with a series of wild strikes but Bob uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Bob blocks a low kick nicely.
Skaar throws a chopping leg kick but Bob manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Bob lands a really nice looking cross but Skaar seems unphased.
Skaar throws a hook to the side of Bob's head but Bob sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Skaar walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Bob scores with a sloppy right hand. Skaar should have avoided that one.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Bob fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Bob fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Skaar on the side of the head.
Skaar lands with a nice body punch.
Bob blocks the body kick.
Billy Bob is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Bob misses with a few strikes there.
Skaar jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Skaar displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

Skaar shoots in and bounces Bob off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Skaar throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bob works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Skaar is in close to Bob's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Skaar throwing strikes but missing.
Skaar distracts Bob with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Skaar wants to control from the top but Bob keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Skaar scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Bob striking from his own guard.
Bob preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Bob has his foot on Skaar's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Skaar works his way back into a safe position though.
Skaar really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bob. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Bob pushes Skaar off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Skaar lands with a big left! Bob is wobbled badly! Skaar comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Bob to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). John Skaar!
A relieved looking John Skaar thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
