Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frederic Bastiat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Rock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bastiat's entrance music is Superstition. A fine choice. Rock has chosen Big Pimpin as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Rock does no damage.

Bastiat closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Rock to the mat! Rock manages to get full guard.
Bastiat passes Rock's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Rock wants to get back to his feet.
Bastiat works his way into side control.

Bastiat is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Rock is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Rock is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Bastiat wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Rock, who protects the arm well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bastiat looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Rock is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Bastiat asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Bastiat tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bastiat has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Bastiat has an Americana. Rock didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Bastiat is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Bastiat hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
