The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodriguez swinging wildly here.
Hardy slips a jab and a cross from Rodriguez.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Rodriguez checks a leg kick.
Hardy ducks under a wild hook from Rodriguez.

Hardy avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
No joy there for Rodriguez, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rodriguez changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hardy looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hardy takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Hurley Rodriguez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hardy leaves his chin hanging out and Rodriguez seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Hardy crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
