Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Aziz Azazel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hayato Nakahara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Aziz Azazel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hayato Nakahara!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Taro Takaoka and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Nakahara looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Nakahara fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Azazel to the ground. Nakahara is now in Azazel's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Nakahara trying to control but Azazel is working from the bottom.
Azazel throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Nakahara escapes and throws Azazel's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Azazel manages to work his way to half guard, despite Nakahara's best efforts.

Nakahara seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Azazel does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nakahara creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Nakahara has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Azazel tries to lock up and control but Nakahara gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Nakahara is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Azazel is in real trouble.
Nakahara is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Azazel knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Azazel for a finish.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nakahara has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Azazel's body.

Nakahara escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Azazel gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Azazel has gone for a leg lock! Nakahara slips out almost immediately though and dives into Azazel's guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Nakahara stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Azazel swivels though and keeps the full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Azazel's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Nakahara closes the distance and clinches.
Nakahara is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Azazel is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Nakahara.
Nakahara tightens his grip and picks Azazel up, before dumping him to the ground. Azazel manages to land in guard.

Nakahara is looking to take a break and control but Azazel is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Azazel takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Nakahara goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Azazel rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Nakahara's guard! Nice work there by Azazel!
Nakahara throws his legs up looking for a submission but Azazel uses it to pass to side control.
Azazel is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Nakahara knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
