Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Glenn Stroud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Brophy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stroud comes to the cage accompanied by Septic Flesh - Pyramid God. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Donald Grub and Phil Schofield.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stroud with a poor takedown
and Brophy makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Stroud really felt that one!
Stroud throws a combination that misses
and Brophy counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Brophy rushes Stroud and presses him up against the cage.
Stroud taking a breather.
Stalling in the clinch from Brophy.

Brophy manages to break the clinch.
Stroud throws a series of punches but Brophy moves out of range.
Stroud misses with a wild combination.
Stroud gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Stroud throws a series of punches but Brophy avoids them all with ease.
Stroud tries to close the distance and clinch up but Brophy swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Brophy lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Stroud tries to clinch but Brophy moves out of range.
Brophy scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Brophy scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Stroud keeps Brophy at a distance using the push kick.
Brophy shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Stroud shoots in looking for a takedown but Brophy manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Stroud's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Brophy keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Glenn Stroud. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Brophy connects with a jab.
Brophy scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Brophy lands a glancing blow to the side of Stroud's head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Brophy lunges at Stroud with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Stroud's hand.

Stroud is rocked!
Brophy misses with a jab, cross combination.
Oh Stroud is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Stroud paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Stroud seems to have got his legs back now.

It looks like Sean Brophy has been cut.
Glenn Stroud seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brophy fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Brophy drops Stroud with a beautiful combination! Stroud stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Brophy is looking for the KO!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Stroud crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Brophy - the referee stops the clock and Stroud gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Brophy. Stroud manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Stroud is breathing heavily.

Brophy lands a big right hand that sends Stroud crashing to the mat! Brophy stays standing though and waves Stroud back to his feet!
Brophy drops Stroud with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Stroud! Brophy dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sean Brophy!
A very excited looking Sean Brophy rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
