Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Guillermo Valez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Owens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Owens has chosen Eurodancer as his entrance music. Gary Owens is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Owens closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Owens manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Valez manages to get himself to full guard.

Owens is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Valez is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Valez has escaped and now he's on top!
Valez wants to pass the guard but Owens is keeping the position.

Owens postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Valez covers up, he's hurt! Owens keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Owens and the ref steps in to end the fight! Owens can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
