Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Quint Bingham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keke Pummel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bingham comes to the cage accompanied by Hatebreed - Live for this. Keke Pummel has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Quint Bingham!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Keke Pummel!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Tarja Halkonen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bingham looking to score a takedown here. Pummel is defending well but Bingham drives through and ends up in Pummel's guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Pummel is adopting a defensive guard.
Bingham wants to control from the top but Pummel keeps moving.
Bingham wants to pass the guard but Pummel is keeping the position.
Bingham chips away with some ground and pound.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pummel can do anything to dispel that myth.

Bingham has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pummel can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Pummel wanted to stand there but Bingham had control of the position.

Bingham had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Pummel defends it easily.

Bingham is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Pummel is aware though and is defending well.

Pummel gets to his feet - Bingham follows without any prompting.
Pummel throws a body punch but Bingham moves out of range.
Pummel misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Pummel lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Pummel connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Pummel lands with a hook. Bingham tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Donk. Bingham catches Pummel right on the button with a cross.
Bingham throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pummel.
Pummel scores with a sloppy right hand. Bingham should have avoided that one.
Pummel misses with a body kick.
Pummel lands a jab to the nose.
Bingham throws a right and a left that Pummel avoids nicely.
An inside leg kick lands from Pummel.
Keke Pummel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Nice sprawl there from Pummel as Bingham shoots in.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pummel wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Bingham.

Pummel wants to hold on but Bingham pushes him away.
Bingham working away from the top, dropping strikes.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Bingham looking to ground and pound but Pummel is blocking nicely.
Pummel really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bingham. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Bingham is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Pummel to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Pummel shrugs it off.

Pummel will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Pummel tries to bum rush Bingham with a series of wild strikes but Bingham uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Bingham throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Pummel attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Pummel lands a nice hook to Bingham's body. Bingham takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Bingham shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pummel pinned against the cage. Pummel gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Pummel lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Pummel.
Pummel goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Pummel throws a sloppy head kick and Bingham moves out of range easily.
Bingham throws a body punch but Pummel moves out of range.
Bingham looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

A big left from Pummel misses.
Pummel throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Pummel throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A jab from Pummel finds it's way through Bingham's defenses.
Pummel pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Pummel misses with a hook
and Bingham counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Pummel thinking.
Bingham looks for a takedown but Pummel sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Quint Bingham. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bingham uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pummel.

Pummel has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bingham is working away from the top position though.
Bingham wants to take a breather but Pummel is having none of it.
Bingham moves into full mount! Pummel won't be happy about that!

Bingham throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Bingham is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Pummel can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Quint Bingham overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Bingham is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Pummel knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bingham wants to control but Pummel is keeping him busy.

That was a close second round but I would say that Quint Bingham will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Bingham is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Pummel is just riding it out for now. Bingham eventually gives up the hold.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bingham, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
