Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Dvanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karl Swanson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Swanson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. all nightmare long by metallica kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Swanson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Dvanov did well to prevent Swanson getting side control.

Swanson throws a strike but Dvanov rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Dvanov is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Swanson defends well.

Swanson content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Dvanov has locked up a guillotine! Dvanov's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Swanson is holding on here and Dvanov must be using up a lot of energy. Swanson has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Dvanov gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Alexander Dvanov really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that SPARTA FIGHTWARE-GTI logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
