Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roger Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Gazer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson comes to the cage accompanied by Hino Nacional do Brasil . Gazer comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Cuts Like a Knife kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Peter Gazer told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

and Gazer counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Gazer drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gazer jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Johnson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gazer doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gazer manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Gazer slips a nice elbow through Johnson's hands, connecting with Johnson's forehead.
Gazer moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Johnson.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Gazer tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gazer has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Johnson pushes Gazer away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Gazer gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Gazer cracks Johnson with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Gazer immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Johnson is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Gazer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Peter Gazer!
Peter Gazer decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
