The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Truck looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Souza crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Truck - the referee stops the clock and Souza gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Truck . Souza manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Truck feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Truck throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Truck looks to score with a jab to the body but Souza is just out of range.

Souza shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Truck but Truck pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Souza wants to work for an arm triangle but Truck is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
