Montoya comes to the cage accompanied by call to prayer. Blyer has chosen Eye Of The Tiger as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Blyer rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Montoya moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Montoya jabs Blyer right on the nose. Blyer blinks but takes it well.
Montoya feints a jab promting Blyer to slip. Montoya then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Blyer slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Blyer is still on wobbly legs! Can Montoya finish him?
Montoya connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Montoya.
Blyer seems to have recovered his senses.
Montoya cracks the inside of Blyer's front leg.
A chopping leg kick lands by Montoya.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Jab, jab by Montoya - just one landing.
Montoya takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Montoya drops Blyer with a beautiful combination! Blyer stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Montoya is looking for the KO!

Blyer's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Montoya lands a big uppercut and Blyer crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Blyer looks OK. Montoya waves Blyer back to his feet!

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Blyer might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Montoya has got the better of the exchanges.
