Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

With a record of 12 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dennis Alexio!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shia Locke!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Anni Minnemäki and Tarja Halkonen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Locke connects with a solid leg kick.
Alexio throws a nice outside leg kick.
Alexio is looking to clinch.
Nice body kick there by Alexio.
Alexio looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Alexio misses with a series of wild punches.
Locke throws a sloppy head kick and Alexio moves out of range easily.
Locke tries a head kick but it misses.
Locke connects with a nice looking jab.
Alexio tries to close the distance and clinch but Locke swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Alexio lands with a straight right. Locke didn't see that one coming.

Locke lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Alexio has Locke up against the cage in a clinch.

Locke works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
A head punch on the inside from Alexio fails to land.
Alexio lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Locke manages to break the clinch.
Alexio throws a chopping leg kick but Locke manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Alexio takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Alexio uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Locke.
Locke changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Alexio tries to clinch but Locke moves away
and Locke connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Locke on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Alexio throws a hook to the side of Locke's head but Locke sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Locke fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Alexio manages to avoid it.
Alexio blocks a head kick by Locke.
Dennis Alexio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Alexio tries to close the distance and clinch up but Locke swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Alexio misses with a wild body shot.
Locke ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Locke throws a sloppy head kick and Alexio moves out of range easily.
Alexio throws a series of punches but Locke avoids them all with ease.
Alexio is breathing heavily.
Locke slips a jab and a cross from Alexio.
Locke throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Alexio walks into a perfectly timed head kick by Locke and drops face first to the floor! Alexio's eyes are wide open but he's not all there - he's just flopping around the mat like a drunk on rollerskates! The referee doesn't even start the count - he's called an end to the fight, with Alexio in no position to continue!

After winning the bout, Shia Locke thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
