Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jed Masilungan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felipe Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Masilungan comes to the cage accompanied by Bound to Violence by Hatebreed. Torres is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bandeira-J Nyce. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masilungan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Torres tries to clinch up.
Torres is looking to clinch.
Masilungan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Torres moves in looking to clinch but Masilungan pushes him off.

Torres drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Torres drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Torres jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Torres content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Torres is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Masilungan defends it well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Masilungan is in trouble now - Torres has advanced to mount!

Torres jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Masilungan manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Torres is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Masilungan is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Torres cracks Masilungan with a big elbow.

Torres uses his free foot to push down on Masilungan's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Masilungan.

Masilungan defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Torres.
Oh Masilungan is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Torres has hold of Masilungan's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Masilungan manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Masilungan seems to have got his legs back now.
Masilungan is looking to improve his position but Torres isn't that keen on the idea.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Masilungan turns into Torres and is now in his guard.

Torres is looking to sinch up a triangle. Masilungan throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Torres's body to avoid the submission. Torres has instead reached around Masilungan's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Torres arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
