Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Juhis Spordo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maciej Igielski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Igielski comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Three Days Grace - The Good Life kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Arvi Lind and Marco Blurström.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spordo swats away the attempt to clinch by Igielski.
Igielski with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Spordo gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Spordo tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Spordo keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Igielski's efforts to push away.
Spordo stalling.
Igielski blocks the elbow strike.
Spordo tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Igielski smiles and moves away.

Spordo manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Igielski on his heels. He'll look to pass Igielski's guard now, I'm sure.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Igielski really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Spordo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Spordo stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Spordo misses with an uppercut
and Igielski counters with a head kick. That will keep Spordo thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Spordo has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Igielski avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Juhis Spordo. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Igielski gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Spordo regains guard.
Spordo looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Igielski tries to stand but Spordo is controlling from the bottom.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Igielski accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Igielski would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Igielski postures up in Spordo's guard and throws a big left but Spordo blocks it.
Igielski wants to stand but Spordo is controlling his posture from full guard.
Igielski must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Spordo is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Igielski frees his head nicely. Oh but Spordo has switched to an armbar! Igielski is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
