Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roger Endez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Roode (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Roger Endez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bobby Roode!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Steve Erwin and Eliza Hachem.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Endez throws a head kick that misses.
Endez ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Endez clinches up with Roode and pushes him back against the ropes.
Roode blocking some punches.
Roode wants to take the fight to the mat but Endez manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Roode has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Endez avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Endez swings wildly with an uppercut but Roode uses good head movement to avoid it.
Endez lands a nice elbow.
Roode wants to get back to striking at distance but Endez won't allow it.
Endez creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Roode can't get the takedown.
Roger Endez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Roode.

Endez ties up his opponent against the ropes and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Endez no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Roode thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Roode passes Endez's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Endez is looking for a sweep. Roode is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Roode gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Endez throws a head kick but Roode moves out of range.
Endez lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Roode shoots in but Endez avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Endez bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Roode's head backwards.
Roode blocks a head kick by Endez.

Roode manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Endez on his heels. He'll look to pass Endez's guard now, I'm sure.
Endez is breathing heavily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Roode wants to control from the top but Endez keeps moving.
Roode passes into half guard.
Endez is staying active underneath Roode, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Roode is trying for a kimura here. Endez looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Roode wins by kimura!
