Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mirkai Sakuba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jarez De Ertu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sakuba comes to the cage accompanied by Bullet For My Valentine - All These Things I Hate. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sakuba shoots in but De Ertu avoids the takedown attempt easily.
De Ertu takes a shot to the body in his stride.

De Ertu decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
De Ertu slows the pace down in half guard.
Sakuba manages to get to full guard.
De Ertu won't allow Sakuba to get back to his feet.
De Ertu must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Sakuba bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in De Ertu's guard.

De Ertu tries to roll over but Sakuba keeps him under control.
Sakuba wants to control but De Ertu is keeping him busy.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if De Ertu can do anything to dispel that myth.

Sakuba maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! De Ertu could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Sakuba has cracked it and De Ertu is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Sakuba!
