The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perez avoids a punch combination nicely.
Franklin misses with a wild body shot.
Franklin fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Perez looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Franklin lands a nice looking body shot.
Franklin throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Perez needs to keep his hands up - Franklin had a free shot at his head there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Perez takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Franklin misses with a double jab.
Perez showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Franklin.
Franklin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Perez moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Franklin swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A decent looking cross lands there for Franklin.
A combination from Franklin does no damage.

Franklin lands a jab to the nose.
Franklin throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Perez.
Franklin thuds his right hand into Perez's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Perez is rocked!
Franklin catches Perez with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Perez forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
