Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Puzzle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and CARMINE LACONA (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LACONA ducks under a wild hook from Puzzle.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Puzzle wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Puzzle closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
LACONA keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Puzzle decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

LACONA has Puzzle up against the cage in a clinch.
Puzzle has had enough of the clinch but LACONA keeps him there for the moment.
LACONA tries for a takedown but Puzzle manages to get underhooks.

Puzzle breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
LACONA is breathing heavily.
Puzzle keeps the fight on the outside.
Puzzle ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Puzzle throws a hook but LACONA blocks it.
LACONA fails with an attempt to clinch.
Puzzle takes one to the side of the head.
LACONA takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

It looks like CARMINE LACONA has been cut.
Puzzle fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
LACONA shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Puzzle.

LACONA changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Puzzle looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Puzzle looks to move to half guard but instead LACONA has passed into mount! Damn!

LACONA can't keep his opponent in guard - Puzzle advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Puzzle is controlling the pace.
Puzzle uses his free foot to push down on LACONA's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for LACONA.

LACONA is looking to improve his position but Puzzle isn't that keen on the idea.

LACONA has left one of his arms exposed and Puzzle doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. LACONA screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
