PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Harper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jack Harper!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Paulsen Ambrosius and Nard Betker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harper misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Lee.
Lee blocks a jab.
Lee uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Harper.
Lee looks for a takedown but Harper sprawls well.

Lee lands a big head kick that sends Harper tumbling to the mat! Lee takes a step backwards and waves Harper back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Harper is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lee gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Harper is still on wobbly legs! Can Lee finish him?

Lee has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Harper uses from the top position.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Lee is looking to sinch up a triangle. Harper throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Lee's body to avoid the submission. Lee has instead reached around Harper's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Lee arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
