Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nolan Frost!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Marcus Behnder!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Left hook, right uppercut from Behnder.
Nice sprawl there from Behnder as Frost shoots in.
Behnder looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Frost tries to close the distance and clinch but Behnder swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Behnder throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Frost shoots and misses

and Behnder counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Frost!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Behnder goes for an armbar but Frost turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Frost.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Behnder controlling Frost's posture.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Behnder looking to hit a scissor sweep but Frost is one step ahead there.
Behnder pulls Frost in to control the position.
Behnder manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Frost manages to get himself to full guard.
Behnder sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Frost's guard.
Behnder trying to advance position but Frost counters by regaining guard.
Behnder working some strikes from top position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Behnder throws a big elbow that misses.
Behnder loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Behnder stands up over Frost, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Behnder looking to pass the guard.
Behnder is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Behnder drops back, looking for a kneebar! Frost looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Frost looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Frost!
Frost advances nicely into full mount.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Behnder tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Behnder sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Behnder is trying to maintain the position but Frost is very close to passing his half guard.

Frost looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Behnder regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Frost.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Behnder looking to hit a scissor sweep but Frost is one step ahead there.
Frost trying to control the position from guard on top but Behnder is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Frost postures up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Behnder bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Frost's guard.
Frost is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Frost looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Marcus Behnder dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Frost lands with a nice body kick.

Frost shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Behnder is desperately trying to improve his position but Frost has a good base and remains in mount.
Frost misses with a head shot.
Behnder is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Behnder tries to hold on but Frost pushes him away.
Frost thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Behnder keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Behnder tries to control Frost's head but Frost pushes him back down and moves quickly to lock up an arm here - he's swung around for an armbar! Will he get it??? Yes! Behnder is tapping out! Lovely Jiu Jitsu there!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (armbar). Nolan Frost!
During a confident post fight interview, Nolan Frost thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
