Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hunter Rose!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rose jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Rose circles away from the clinch attempt.
Rose misses with a straight right.
Rose ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Rose throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Contini closes the distance and clinches up with Rose, looking for a takedown. Contini pushes Rose against the ropes but Rose circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Contini connects with a leg kick. Rose looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Contini moves into range and connects with a jab.
Contini throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Rose lands a body shot.
Rose ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Contini moves away.
A punch lands to the side of Contini 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Rose loads up on a big right hand but Contini slips the punch.
Contini lands with a thumping leg kick.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Contini wants to clinch up but Rose keeps it at a distance.

Rose gets caught napping as Contini dives in and scores a takedown. Rose manages to retain guard.
Contini postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Contini looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Rose with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Contini will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The fighters circle momentarily. Rose darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Contini shoots in looking for a takedown. Rose tries to sprawl out of it but Contini keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Rose manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Rose bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Rose walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Contini checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Rose goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Contini seems to have got his legs back now.
Contini throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Contini takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Contini throws out a leg kick but Rose moves out of range and Contini only half commits.
Contini does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Contini shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Rose sprawls well. Rose wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Contini gets slowly back to his feet.

Maybe Contini would be better served going for some more strikes rather than trying to control so much.
