Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Beck Bom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tuna Fish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tuna Fish is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Beck Bom!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tuna Fish!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bom shoots in and drives through. Fish sprawls well.
Fish tests Bom's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Fish swings for the body but Bom moves out of range.
Fish stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Fish dips to his left and cracks Bom with an uppercut!
Fish lands with a nice combination. Bom backs away looking to recover.
Fish dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Fish lands with a shot to the body.
Bom shoots in for a takedown but Fish shows good takedown defense.
Bom avoids the body shot from Fish.
Tuna Fish seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fish digs a good body shot into Bom's ribs.
Fish rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bom moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bom tries for a takedown but Fish sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Fish lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Fish closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bom did well to prevent Fish getting side control.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Fish looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bom with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Fish is nestled in close to Bom, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bom landing rabbit punches to the side of Fish's head. Not doing much damage but still scoring a few points.
Bom is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Fish's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Fish's back!

Tuna Fish showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

and Fish counters with a stiff right hand.
Bom keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Fish.
Fish throws a right and a left that Bom avoids nicely.

Bom uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Fish.

Bom shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Fish as he avoids it easily.

Fish throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bom stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Fish is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bom.
Bom throws a low kick but Fish moves out of range easily.
Bom takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Bom takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Bom looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Fish is fending him off so far but Bom persists. Nope, Fish circles away and we're back to standing.
Bom looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
