Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Yves DeLean and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Helark lands a leg kick that knocks Jonny off balance momentarily.
Jonny takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Jonny tries to score a power double leg takedown but Helark sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jonny somewhat.
Nice takedown defense from Helark. No joy for Jonny on that attempt.

and Jonny counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

John Jonny overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Helark is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Jonny is controlling him well.

Jonny looks up at the clock and then as Helark takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Jonny smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Helark pushes Jonny away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Jonny gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Jonny is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Helark is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to John Jonny.
I think Jonny has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
