Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Curtis Milicz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DJ Brona (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Milicz comes to the cage accompanied by Fort Minor - Remember the Name. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Milicz takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Milicz shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Brona as he avoids it easily.
Milicz dodges the punch combination from Brona.
Brona rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Milicz moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Brona displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Brona.
Brona throws a right and a left that Milicz avoids nicely.

Brona lunges at Milicz with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Milicz's hand.
Brona slaps away a takedown attempt from Milicz, before circling back to the center of the mat.
No joy there for Brona, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Brona looks to land a combination but Milicz avoids it well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Milicz drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Brona tries to bum rush Milicz with a series of wild strikes but Milicz uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Milicz changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Brona tries to avoid it but Milicz manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Brona to the ground. Brona escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Brona throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Milicz.

Brona drops Milicz with a left and a right! Oh, Milicz is hurt - Brona dives into side control looking to finish!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Brona tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Brona has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Brona is trying to ground and pound but Milicz uses the momentary lack of control by Brona to regain half guard.

Brona misses with a series of wild punches.
Brona swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Milicz throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Brona's waist but Brona gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Milicz off to one side.

Brona closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Brona lands in his opponent's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Brona is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Milicz is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Brona defends well.
Brona would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Milicz working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Brona doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Brona manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brona wants to stand but Milicz is controlling his posture from full guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Brona drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Brona jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Bronais looking to pass into half guard but Milicz pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Milicz is in guard.

Milicz shoots in looking for a takedown. Brona tries to sprawl out of it but Milicz keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Brona manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Brona tries to score a power double leg takedown but Milicz sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Brona somewhat.
Brona changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Milicz tries to avoid it but Brona manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Milicz to the ground. Milicz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
