Jones 's entrance music is Method Man, Redman- Da Rockwilder. A fine choice. Jon Fitch is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones closes the distance and clinches up with Fitch, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes Fitch against the cage but Fitch circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Oooh a lovely combination from Jones sends Fitch down but not out. Jones dives into side control looking to finish.

It looks like Jon Fitch has been cut.

Jones tries for a kimura but Fitch is defending well.

Fitch wants to get back to his feet but Jones is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Fitch really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jones . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Fitch drops back, looking for a kneebar! Jones looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Jones looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Jones !

Jones has hold of Fitch's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Fitch tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Jones cranks the arm and Fitch screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Fitch, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
