Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Corneo Stilztkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marco Marcolini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stilztkin comes into the arena with Dream Theater - Home blaring out of the sound system. Marcolini is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Raffaella Carra - Rumore. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Corneo Stilztkin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Marco Marcolini!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stilztkin shoots in looking for a takedown but Marcolini manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Stilztkin's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Marcolini throws a right and a left that both miss.
Stilztkin throws a leg kick
and Marcolini cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Stilztkin looks for a takedown but Marcolini sprawls well.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Marcolini checks a leg kick.
Stilztkin keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Stilztkin fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Corneo Stilztkin. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Stilztkin looks for a takedown but Marcolini sprawls well.

Marcolini throws a series of punches but Stilztkin moves out of range.

and Marcolini counters with a head kick that drops Stilztkin to the mat! Stilztkin scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Stilztkin fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Stilztkin does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Nice body punch from Marcolini.

Stilztkin shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Marcolini manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Marcolini has momentary wrist control but Stilztkin slips an elbow through the middle.
Marcolini manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Stilztkin manages to get himself to full guard.
Stilztkin seems keen to control Marcolini's posture.

Marcolini wants to pass the guard but Stilztkin is keeping the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stilztkin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Marcolini advances to half guard.
Marcolini prevents Stilztkin from improving his position.
Marcolini is pressing down on Stilztkin's thigh, looking to free his foot. Stilztkin is holding on for now.

Stilztkin regains full guard. Nicely done.

Stilztkin not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Marcolini is looking to work some ground and pound but Stilztkin has wrist control.
Stilztkin is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Marcolini wants to improve his position but Stilztkin is controlling well.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Marcolini wants to control but Stilztkin is keeping busy and won't allow it.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Marcolini enables Stilztkin to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Marcolini manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Marcolini has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Stilztkin is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Marcolini is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Marcolini has escaped and now he's on top!

Corneo Stilztkin overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Stilztkin looking for a triangle here. Marcolini is fighting it but it looks tight! Stilztkin pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Marcolini is tapping out - this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Corneo Stilztkin!
A relieved looking Corneo Stilztkin thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
