The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcphee misses with a takedown attempt - Brody sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Nice sprawl there from Brody as Mcphee shoots in.

Mcphee rushes Brody and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Mcphee breaks the clinch.
Brody misses with a straight right.
Mcphee steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Brody.
Mcphee shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Brody but Brody pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Nicholas Brody has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sandy Mcphee.
Mcphee checks a low kick from Brody.

Brody sends Mcphee crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Brody is motioning to the referee to let Mcphee up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Mcphee looks gassed!
Mcphee gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Brody gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Mcphee is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
