Aybara comes to the cage accompanied by Hey Man Nice Shot by Filter. Perrin Aybara has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones tries to keep at a distance but Aybara has taken the fight into the clinch.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Aybara accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Jones escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Aybara gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Aybara stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Jones changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Aybara tries to avoid it but Jones manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Aybara to the ground. Aybara escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Jones drops back, looking for a kneebar! Aybara looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Aybara looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Aybara!
