PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Guy Kopec (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Wagon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kopec comes into the arena with Boats 'N Hoes blaring out of the sound system. Wagon has chosen Lynyrd Skynyrd - Simple Man as his entrance music. Guy Kopec has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wagon shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Wagon showed some decent athleticism there.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Wagon uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kopec.

Kopec throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Wagon was covering up waiting for the punch and Kopec finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Kopec wants to stand and escape but instead Wagon has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Chuck Wagon dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Kopec misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Kopec decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Wagon wants to improve his position but Kopec is controlling well.
Kopec will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kopec, as that shot connected.
