PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randy Godick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pirah Harip (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Godick's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Momma said knock you out. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Harip or perhaps it was just good defense by Godick which made him look bad.
Harip feints a jab promting Godick to slip. Harip then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Godick slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Harip tries to clinch up but Godick circles away and keeps his distance.

Harip has closed the distance and engaged Godick in a clinch.
Godick can't find room to land a body shot as Harip controls the action.
Harip should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Godick is looking to take this one to the mat.

Godick's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Godick wants to take a breather but Harip is having none of it.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Harip has eaten all the pies!
Godick throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Harip's waist but Harip gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Godick off to one side.
