The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perez shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Damangi eats them both and turns towards Perez to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Perez's corner calls for a 1-2. Perez obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Damangi gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Damangi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Perez keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Nice shot lands for Perez.
Damangi ducks right into an uppercut from Perez.
Damangi fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Perez avoids it really well and circles away.
Damangi wants to clinch up but Perez keeps it at a distance.
Perez keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Perez scores with a nice right hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Perez fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Damangi.

Perez knocks out Damangi with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Perez before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Perez picks up the big W with a huge KO!
