Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dante Shoot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robin Monty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monty throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Shoot fails with an attempt to clinch.
Shoot looks to land a left hand but Monty moved out of range nicely.
Monty closes this distance looking for a takedown but Shoot circles away.
Monty scores with a punch to the head.
Monty with a lazy takedown attempt
and Shoot counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Monty loads up on a big right hand but Shoot slips the punch.
Monty tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Shoot swivels and escapes.
Dante Shoot has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robin Monty.
No joy there for Monty, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Shoot tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Monty was well out of range. Poor timing from Shoot.
Monty tries to score a power double leg takedown but Shoot sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Monty somewhat.

Shoot has Monty up against the cage in a clinch.
Monty is working for takedown but Shoot is calmly controlling the position for now.

Shoot escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Monty drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Monty trying to control the position from guard on top but Shoot is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Shoot is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Monty wants to control from the top but Shoot keeps moving.
Monty might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Shoot kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Robin Monty has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Shoot moves out of range as Monty strikes.
Shoot looks to land a left hand but Monty moved out of range nicely.
Monty misses with a looping left.
Monty fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Shoot swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Shoot tries a head kick but it misses.
Monty looks to score with a jab to the body but Shoot is just out of range.

Shoot wants to clinch up but Monty keeps it at a distance.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Monty is defended easily by Shoot.
Monty tries to clinch up but Shoot circles away and keeps his distance.

Monty closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
You can see the frustration on Shoot's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Monty wants to control but Shoot is keeping him busy.
Shoot knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Monty on the ground.
Shoot manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Shoot is looking to take a break and control but Monty is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Shoot tries to stand but can't do so whilst Monty controls his leg.
Monty is doing well to control the position and prevent Shoot from advancing to side control.

The cut man is working on Robin Monty's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Shoot throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Monty stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Shoot takes a swing at Monty's ribcage but misses.
Monty shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Shoot throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Monty on the side of the head.
Shoot scores with a jab to the body.
Dante Shoot is winning the standup battle so far.
Shoot throws a body punch but Monty moves out of range.
Monty gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Shoot counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Some wild striking there from Shoot.
Shoot lands with a shot to the body.
Shoot throws a front kick aimed at Monty's knee but Monty avoids it well.
Shoot misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Monty dodges the punch combination from Shoot.
Shoot misses with a jab, cross combination.
Shoot is looking to wear down Monty with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
A punch lands to the side of Shoot 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Shoot throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

A jab from Shoot finds it's way through Monty's defenses.

That has opened up Robin Monty's cut even more.
Shoot displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Monty.
Dante Shoot has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robin Monty.
Shoot lands a jab to the nose.
Monty shoots in looking for a takedown. Shoot tries to sprawl out of it but Monty keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Shoot manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The cut above Robin Monty's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Shoot lunges at Monty with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Monty's hand.

Robin Monty's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Monty jumps guard but Shoot turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Shoot keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Monty's efforts to push away.
Monty is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Shoot to keep the fight standing.
