PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Saigon The Yard Father (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Dux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Yard Father comes to the cage accompanied by Saigon - It's Cold. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Frank Dux was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dux connects with a leg kick. The Yard Father looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

The Yard Father drives through and clinches with Dux against the cage.
The Yard Father jumps guard but Dux stands there with The Yard Father around his waist. The Yard Father gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
The Yard Father tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Dux just stands there and leans against the cage.

The Yard Father ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. The Yard Father no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Dux has his foot on The Yard Father's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. The Yard Father works his way back into a safe position though.

The Yard Father has hold of Dux's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Dux manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The Yard Father fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Dux to the ground. The Yard Father is now in Dux's guard.
