The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Male throws a nice looking combination but Kravcov bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Male tries to bum rush Kravcov with a series of wild strikes but Kravcov uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Male throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Male throws a series of punches but Kravcov moves out of range.
Male stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Male wants it to stay on the feet.
Alpha Male has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Egor Kravcov.

Male rushes Kravcov and presses him up against the cage.
Male escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kravcov shoots in and bounces Male off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Kravcov throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Male works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Male has control of Kravcov's left arm, preventing Kravcov from doing any damage.

Kravcov tries to free his leg and advance position but Male is retaining full guard.
Male knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kravcov on the ground.
Kravcov passes Male's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kravcov takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Kravcov lands a nice short elbow.
Male is trying to stand up here but Kravcov is controlling him well.

Kravcov shoots in for a takedown but Male shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Male cracks Kravcov with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Male scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kravcov doesn't seem bothered though.
Male tries to clinch up.
Male lands a slapping body shot.
Kravcov looks gassed!
Male moves into the clinch successfully.
Kravcov jumps guard but Male stands there with Kravcov around his waist. Kravcov gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Male breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Male slaps away a takedown attempt from Kravcov, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Kravcov closes the distance and clinches up with Male, looking for a takedown. Kravcov pushes Male against the cage but Male circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Male sizes up Kravcov with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
It looks like Egor Kravcov has been cut.
Kravcov tries to keep at a distance but Male has taken the fight into the clinch.
Male's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A left lands for Male.
Male scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Alpha Male is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kravcov takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Male really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Male connects with a stiff jab that staggers Kravcov - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
