The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cole on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Barraboza defending well as Cole loads up on a big left hand.
Barraboza throws a head kick that half lands.

It looks like Emmett Cole has been cut.

Cole takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Barraboza looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Cole swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Barraboza tries a head kick but it misses.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cole shoots for a double leg takedown but Barraboza sprawls well. He's pushed Cole's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Cole has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Barraboza.
Emmett Cole seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cole on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Barraboza. Barraboza obviously looking to wear him down.
A nice inside leg kick there by Barraboza. That's going to slow Cole down.

Good leg kick by Barraboza there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Cole stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Barraboza.
Cole's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Barraboza lands an overhand right.

Emmett Cole's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Cole takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Barraboza cracks the inside of Cole's front leg.
Barraboza tries to close the distance and clinch but Cole swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Barraboza throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Cole looks to land a right hand but Barraboza moved out of range.
Cole takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Cole misses with a takedown attempt - Barraboza sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
A head kick from Barraboza lands but Cole takes it in his stride.
