Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Maguila Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Shafer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Maguila Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, William Shafer!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Maguila Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Shafer circles away quickly and effectively.
A looping hook to the body misses from Silva. Shafer does a little dance to reset his feet.
Shafer gets a clinch.
Shafer throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Silva wants to get back to striking at distance but Shafer won't allow it.
Shafer escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Shafer cracks Silva with a right hand to the side of the head.
Shafer misses with a double jab
and Silva counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Shafer is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
A shot to the liver by Silva. Beautiful body shot.
Silva throws the left hand but Shafer avoids the punch easily.
Silva misses with a looping right.
Shafer misses with a head kick.
Shafer walks into a jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Silva throws a big shot that misses.
Shafer shoots in but Silva avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Silva gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Shafer slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Silva is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Shafer takes a little break here. Silva wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Shafer working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Silva is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Shafer asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Shafer controls the position.
Shafer tries for a kimura but Silva is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Shafer decides to stand back up. Shafer steps back and let's Silva get back to his feet.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Shafer.
Shafer rushes Silva and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Shafer pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Silva throws a lazy uppercut
and Shafer counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Silva on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Silva tries to get out of the position.
Shafer keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Shafer stops Silva from getting back to his feet.
Shafer is trying for a kimura here. Silva looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Shafer wins by kimura!
