Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mason Peters!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tek Jansen!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jansen avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Peters keeps the fight on the outside.
Jansen closes the distance looking to clinch
and Peters counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Jansen wants to clinch up but Peters keeps it at a distance.
A combination from Peters does no damage.
Peters keeps the fight on the outside.
Jansen dodges the punch combination from Peters.
Peters throws a series of punches but Jansen moves out of range.
Jansen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Peters swats him away and circles back towards the center.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jansen looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Jansen throws a head kick that misses.
Peters throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jansen doesn't manage to clinch there - Peters circles away.

Peters will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The fight stays on the outside here - Jansen looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Jansen tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Peters showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Jansen.
Jansen throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Peters tries to bum rush Jansen with a series of wild strikes but Jansen uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Jansen tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Peters counters with a nice double leg into side control. Jansen won't be happy with that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jansen regains half guard.

Peters not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Jansen is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Peters pulls his head out easily.
Peters wants to stand up but Jansen has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Peters thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jansen is holding on to half guard well.
Jansen avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Peters.
Peters misses with a head shot. Jansen uses the momentum to regain guard.
Jansen is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Peters missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Peters knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jansen on the ground.

Jansen is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Jansen trying to keep a closed guard but Peters is proving a slippery customer.
Jansen has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Peters should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Jansen has tightened it up now! Peters should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
