The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marcum stuffs the takedown.
Navis Sillage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sillage fails in his attempt to clinch.
Sillage shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Marcum pinned against the cage. Marcum gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Sillage looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Marcum lands one or two decent shots to the body here. Although from his own half guard, he's not going to be causing too much damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sillage trying to control the action but Marcum is working from the bottom.
Sillage is really struggling to control Marcum but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Marcum scores with a few weak punches.
Marcum is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Sillage's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Sillage's back!
Sillage is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

Marcum has his arm under Sillage's chin here. Game over son! Marcum squeezes tightly and Sillage is forced to tap out!
