Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grimes swinging wildly here.
Grimes closes the distance and lands a one-two.
It looks like Yoshi Doi has been cut.
Nice takedown defense from Grimes. No joy for Doi on that attempt.
Doi shoots in looking for a takedown. Grimes tries to sprawl out of it but Doi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Grimes manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Doi takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Doi wants to clinch but Grimes slips to the side
and Grimes counters with a good, hard body kick but Doi shrugs it off.
Doi throws a head kick but Grimes moves out of range.
Doi fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yoshi Doi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Grimes has closed the distance and engaged Doi in a clinch.
Grimes misses with a hook from the clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Doi goes for a takedown in the clinch but Grimes prevents it.
Grimes lands a big right hand that drops Doi! The killer instinct kicks in and Grimes finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Grimes!
