The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fjas throws an off balance right hand
and Laws counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Fjas closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Laws quickly recovers to half guard.
Laws trying to hold on to Fjas's head to control him but Fjas postures up.
Fjas slips a nice elbow through Laws's hands, connecting with Laws's forehead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fjas is controlling the pace.

Fjas lands a big shot there that rocks Laws but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Laws is rocked!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Fjas cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Oh Laws is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fjas loads up with a big shot that hurts Laws! He's pulled Fjas in close but Fjas has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Laws survive? More strikes from Fjas and Laws is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
