Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Buddy Barnett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Markku Mannersormi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Barnett might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Stand Up. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mannersormi shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Barnett as he jumps to the side.
Mannersormi is trying hard to land a takedown here. Barnett sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mannersormi is defended easily by Barnett.
Buddy Barnett has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Markku Mannersormi.
Mannersormi tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Barnett swivels and escapes.
Mannersormi takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Mannersormi swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Mannersormi on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Barnett checks a low kick from Mannersormi.
Barnett throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Barnett misses with a series of wild punches.
Mannersormi looks for a takedown but Barnett sprawls well.

It looks like Markku Mannersormi has been cut.
A slapping leg kick lands for Barnett.
Mannersormi throws a nice looking combination but Barnett bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Mannersormi blocks a head kick by Barnett.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Barnett lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Barnett lands a nice shot that snaps Mannersormi's head back.
Mannersormi is still on wobbly legs! Can Barnett finish him?
Mannersormi takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Mannersormi seems to have recovered his senses.
Mannersormi looks to land a combination but Barnett avoids it well.
A jab from Barnett finds it's way through Mannersormi's defenses.
Nice shot lands for Barnett.
Mannersormi fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Barnett bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Mannersormi's head.
Mannersormi fails with the takedown.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Nice combo by Barnett! Oh, that's hurt him - Mannersormi falls to the canvas and Barnett follows him into side control.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Mannersormi tries to strike from the bottom but misses.
Barnett looks up at the clock and then as Mannersormi takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Barnett smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Barnett lands a huge shot from side control! Mannersormi is out cold! This one is all over!
