Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pj Benn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Happy Lucky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lucky has Benn up against the cage in a clinch.
Benn is pressed up against the cage. Lucky has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Benn down to the mat. Benn avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Lucky walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Benn checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Lucky misses with a few strikes there.
Lucky misses with a series of wild punches.
Happy Lucky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Benn is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Lucky.

Lucky throws a right and a left that Benn avoids nicely.
Lucky moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Lucky tries to throw a body punch but Benn avoids it by throwing Lucky back against the cage.
Lucky is working for takedown but Benn is calmly controlling the position for now.
Lucky keeps control of Benn as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Pj Benn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Happy Lucky.
Benn makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Lucky has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Benn clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Benn is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Lucky's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Lucky's back!

Benn escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lucky gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Lucky has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Benn is proving hard to escape from.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Lucky lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Benn sprawling to the canvas. Lucky follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Benn hang on?

Lucky is looking to work some ground and pound but Benn has wrist control.

Benn has his foot on Lucky's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lucky works his way back into a safe position though.

Benn is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lucky defends well.
Lucky looking to sit in guard and control but Benn gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Benn is pushing down on Lucky's leg trying to pass to half guard. Lucky is fighting to maintain full guard but Benn has managed to sneak the leg through.

Benn is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Lucky defends it well.
Benn tries to pass the half guard into mount. Lucky knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lucky wants to control but Benn is keeping busy.
Lucky wants to get back to his feet.
Benn will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Benn uses his free foot to push down on Lucky's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Lucky.
Lucky regains half guard.
Benn works his way into side control.
Lucky tries to buck Benn off but Benn is having none of it.

Benn tries to advance position but instead Lucky slips a leg back in to half guard.
Lucky is looking to control Benn's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Lucky avoid being mounted?

Benn looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Benn wants to pass to mount but Lucky is defending the position.

Lucky blocking the ground and pound attempt from Benn.
Lucky pushes Benn off looking to stand but Benn dives back in and keeps control.
Benn throws a strike but Lucky avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Benn stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lucky swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Lucky stalks Benn and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Benn's face. Benn staggers backwards, shaken.

Lucky is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Lucky lands with a nice combination. Benn backs away looking to recover.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Benn throws a nice looking combination but Lucky bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Lucky scores with a head kick. Benn tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Lucky lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Benn out cold! Benn is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
