Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chop Dick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martell Hennessey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Dick might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Prodigy - No Good. Hennessey has chosen Oh My by: Roscoe Dash as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hennessey looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dick is fending him off so far but Hennessey persists. Nope, Dick circles away and we're back to standing.
Hennessey misses with a series of wild punches.
Hennessey lands a nice leg kick that just misses Dick's sensitive parts.
Dick tests Hennessey's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Hennessey attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Hennessey misses with a double jab
and Dick makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Hennessey doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Dick counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Hennessey's guard now.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Hennessey scores with a one two! Dick had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Hennessey throws a series of punches but Dick avoids them all with ease.

Hennessey got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dick has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hennessey has managed to get both his arms back between Dick's legs - danger averted.

Hennessey looking to sit in guard and control but Dick gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Dick postures up in Hennessey's guard and throws a big left but Hennessey blocks it.

Dick is taking a breather. Hennessey says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Dick stalling away here and it's allowed Hennessey to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Dick is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hennessey knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Hennessey takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Dick takes a little break here. Hennessey wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Dick lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hennessey seems to have recovered his senses.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Dick's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Hennessey ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dick moves away.
Hennessey fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dick manages to avoid it.
Martell Hennessey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hennessey shoots in for a double leg but Dick sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Dick is working for a kimura but Hennessey is defending it quite comfortably.

Dick is trying to control the action in half guard but Hennessey is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Dick drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Hennessey manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Dick has Hennessey in his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dick is on top in guard.
Dick wants to pass the guard but Hennessey is keeping the position.
Chop Dick is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Hennessey controls Dick momentarily but Dick frees himself.
Dick seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dick, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Chop Dick decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
