Grupe comes to the cage accompanied by Organized Konfusion - Bring It On (Buckwild Remix) . Goldsmith comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Dos Equis kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Jonathan Goldsmith acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jonathan Goldsmith!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goldsmith misses with a double jab.
Grupe tries to bum rush Goldsmith with a series of wild strikes but Goldsmith uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Goldsmith showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Grupe.
Grupe just misses with a punch to the body.
Grupe works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Goldsmith drives through and clinches with Grupe against the cage.
Grupe throws a punch but it's blocked by Goldsmith.

Goldsmith pulls Grupe into guard.
Goldsmith has a closed guard, preventing Grupe from standing up.

Goldsmith walks into a stiff left hand from Grupe.
Grupe throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Goldsmith stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Norbert Grupe is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Grupe uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Goldsmith shoots in and drives through. Grupe sprawls well.
Goldsmith drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Grupe batters Goldsmith with a massive right followed by a huge left! Goldsmith is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Grupe lands a final crushing right hand to drop Goldsmith to the mat with a gruesome thud! Grupe is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Norbert Grupe!
