The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from David enables Horton to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. David manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
David looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Horton puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Horton slows the pace down in half guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Erek Horton wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Horton gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Horton lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt David or not.

Horton lands a damaging elbow.
Horton working the clinch nicely. David is working for position but Horton cracks him with a big knee to the head! David crumples up against the cage and Horton lands two more shots before the ref can save David! This one is all over!

Erek Horton decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
