Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lick Hard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keith Kade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hard comes to the cage accompanied by Let Your Backbone Slide . Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Edson Gomes and Seu Braga.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kade throws a head kick but Hard moves out of range.
Hard showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kade.
Hard connects with a solid leg kick.
Kade tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Hard counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Kade just misses with a elbow thrown towards Hard's brow.

Hard manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Hard is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kade defends well.
Hard manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kade manages to get himself to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hard is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Hard is looking to work some ground and pound but Kade has wrist control.
Kade really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hard. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hard not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Kade looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hard is one step ahead there.
Kade wants to stand but Hard is controlling the position.
Hard keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Kade's head.
Kade avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Kade tries to close the distance and clinch but Hard swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kade throws a low kick, looking for Hard's leg but Hard calmly moves out of range.
Hard lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Keith Kade seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hard throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
No joy there for Kade, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Hard clinches up with Kade and pushes him back against the cage.

Kade tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Hard avoids it.

Hard breaks from the clinch.
Kade tries to clinch but Hard is having none of it.
Hard tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Hard lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kade circles away quickly and effectively.

Crunch! Kade slams his shin into Hard's torso.
Hard misses with an attempted mid kick.
Kade fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A combination from Kade does no damage.
Kade tries to close the distance and clinch but Hard swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hard walks forward, straight into a front kick from Kade.
Kade throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Hard's head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hard tries a head kick but it misses.
Kade is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Kade tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hard swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Kade tries to keep at a distance but Hard has taken the fight into the clinch.
Kade tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Hard decides to pull guard.
Hard keeping moving, preventing Kade from controlling successfully.
Kade looking to sit in guard and control but Hard gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hard in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Hard connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Hard avoids the head kick by Kade.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hard lands a big head kick that sends Kade tumbling to the mat! Hard takes a step backwards and waves Kade back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Kade is rocked!

It looks like Keith Kade has been cut.
Hard throws a series of punches but Kade moves out of range.
Kade pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Kade is breathing heavily.

Kade takes a swing at Hard's ribcage but misses.
Kade throws a lazy head kick
and Hard counters with a head kick. That will keep Kade thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Hard swats away the attempt to clinch by Kade.
Hard throws a half hearted mid kick.
Hard throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Kade tries to land a front kick but Hard steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Hard misses with a jab, cross combination.
Hard looks for the body kick but Kade saw that one coming.

Hard shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kade napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Hard in side control lands a decent elbow.
Kade tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hard wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Hard has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Kade is in real trouble here. Hard gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Kade is tapping out! Hard wins by rear naked choke!
