The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sagat cracks Serra with a right hand to the side of the head.
Sagat changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Serra wants to clinch.
Serra takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Sagat throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Serra gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

The fight stays on the outside here - Serra looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Serra throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Sagat blocks it with crossed arms.

Sagat lands an elbow inside that Serra shrugs off.

Sagat creates a bit of space and fires a knee right up the middle, almost lifting Serra off his feet and sending him crashing to the canvas! Serra is trying to get back to his feet but his equilibrium is completely gone! The referee has called it off! This fight is over! Sagat is jumping up and down like a mad man, celebrating with his cornermen.
