Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zbigniew Ciosek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nefertum Imhotep (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Donatello Bradman and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Imhotep has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Ciosek.
Imhotep clinches up with Ciosek and pushes him back against the cage.
Imhotep turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Imhotep manages to end up in side control.
Ciosek wants to get back to his feet but Imhotep drags him back down.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Imhotep is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Ciosek to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Ciosek shrugs it off.
Ciosek is squirming around, avoiding Imhotep's attempts to control the action.

Imhotep is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Ciosek can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Imhotep wants to control the pace but Ciosek is squirming around nicely.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Nefertum Imhotep wasn't active enough on the ground.
Imhotep has Ciosek up against the cage in a clinch.
Imhotep tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Imhotep lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Ciosek throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Imhotep blocks it with crossed arms.
Ciosek lands a good knee to the midsection. Imhotep won't want to take too many of those.

Imhotep pushes Ciosek off and gets back to his feet.
Imhotep feints and as Ciosek raises his hands in defense, Imhotep changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Imhotep won't allow Ciosek to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Imhotep throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Ciosek is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Imhotep is aware though and is defending well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Ciosek cracks Imhotep with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Ciosek rushes Imhotep and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Imhotep jumps guard and drags Ciosek to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Ciosek throws a strike but Imhotep rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Imhotep closes the distance and pushes Ciosek back into the cage.
Imhotep tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ciosek smiles and moves away.

Ciosek is refusing to be controlled, as Imhotep sits in half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Imhotep working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Imhotep works his foot free and advances to mount.
Imhotep throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Nefertum Imhotep was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
