Farha comes to the ring accompanied by Ari Gold - Let's Hug It Out, BITCH. Benn has chosen Icarus by Hopesfall as his entrance music. Sammy Farha had a look across the ring there at his opponent. He definitely means business

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Jp Benn!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Sam Margolis and James Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Benn.
Farha misses the jab.
Farha scores with a jab to the jaw.
Farha throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
The fighters circle momentarily. Benn darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Benn misses with a wild body shot.
Benn throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Farha thumps Benn with a low kick.
Farha uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Benn.

Benn gets tackled into the ropes by Farha. Farha maintains the clinch.

Farha jumps guard and drags Benn to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Benn is looking to stand up but Farha won't let him.
Farha looking to control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Farha had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Benn defends it easily.

Farha is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Benn defends well.
Benn must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Benn trying to control the position from guard on top but Farha is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Benn postures up in Farha's guard and throws a big left but Farha blocks it.
Benn won't allow Farha to sweep him here.
Benn throws a big right hand that misses.
Benn wants to control from the top but Farha keeps moving.
Farha can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Benn controls the pace.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jp Benn wasn't active enough on the ground.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Benn throws the left hand but Farha avoids the punch easily.
Farha tries a head kick but it misses.

Farha fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Farha lands a really nice looking cross but Benn seems unphased.

Farha shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Farha lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Farha is looking to take a break and control but Benn is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Farha in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Benn tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Farha!
