Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, DJ Puggles!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Columbo Gatti and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turner lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Puggles avoids the head kick by Turner.
Turner scores with a leg kick.

Puggles has closed the distance and engaged Turner in a clinch.
Turner wants to get back to striking at distance but Puggles won't allow it.
Turner stops a takedown attempt from Puggles.
Turner wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Puggles has him pressed against the cage.
Puggles tries to work over Turner's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Turner looking to stall.

Turner is looking to control Puggles's arms but Puggles gets an underhook and turns him. Now Turner has his back to the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Turner tries to land a knee to the head but Puggles blocks with his arms.
Turner connects with a nasty looking knee right to Puggles's face.
Puggles wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Turner creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

The referee is keeping an eye on Puggles - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Puggles sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Puggles lands a really nice looking cross but Turner seems unphased.
Randy Turner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Turner throws a push kick but Puggles slaps the foot to one side.

Puggles shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Turner eats them both and turns towards Puggles to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Turner is looking to chop away at Puggles's legs.

Puggles throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Turner blocks it with crossed arms.
Puggles fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Turner.

Both fighters circling a little - Turner finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Randy Turner is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Turner keeps the fight on the outside.
Turner tries to clinch up but Puggles circles away and keeps his distance.
Turner fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Puggles is out of range.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

OK we're going to have a standup here. DJ Puggles hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Puggles throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Turner, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
